Realities of life

In this artwork, I aim to explore the complex layers of life in the United States. While there are many aspects of life here in the U.S that are fun and remarkable, there are also significant inequalities. I had the opportunity to collaborate with local homeless individuals, who graciously shared parts of their lives with me. This interaction allowed me to gather footage, which I then used to create this video installation. Everything on the front canvas is personal footage, and the middle sections are a variety of copyright-free videos from Pexels. This project addresses a pressing issue in Greeley, Colorado: homelessness and the challenges faced by immigrants. Through this piece, I hope to shed light on the struggles and disparities that many individuals in our community experience.
